The tornado that ravaged parts of our community and Mossy Grove swept through on the 10th of November, 2002.

I was never so glad as when I discovered that, though a number of our members had suffered damage to property, all were nonethless safe, well, and unharmed.  It could have been terribly worse.

Please take a moment to remember Randy Roper. He is presently in the hospital with a bit of a heart problem.

UPDATE:  Randy had two stents put in a very seriously (99%) blocked artery.  He is on his way home, however, with strict dietary guidelines and a need to return to the doctor for a visit in the near future.

I was searching for a photo for Veteran’s Day (which I haven’t been able to find yet) and stumbled across some others that I think folk will enjoy.

The Tennessee Department of Education website now has the “Report Card” for schools available.  Morgan County is here and from there you can select whichever school you like.

Don’t forget to set your clock BACK an hour this coming Saturday night (November 3rd).
