The Ladybug Invasion Is On The Way
October 30, 2007
Consider this something of a public service announcement. You may have noticed a few ladybugs around your house. According to the University of Kentucky, they will soon begin entering your home when the colder weather sets in in order to find a warm place to stay for the winter.
If you wish to keep these creatures out of doors where they belong, purchase a pesticide called “Triazicide” and apply it to the edges of your windows and doors- especially those on the ’sunny’ side of your home. That is where the bugs will seek to gain access to your home. In short, any crack or hole or window will be an open door to them and you have to treat it with Triazicide or you’ll have swarms of unwanted company.
And, naturally, be sure to follow label directions on the pesticide you purchase. But now is the time to get it done. Before the bugs get in. Because once they get in, there’s no use in trying to keep them out.
