The Church Father Tertullian once wrote “He who lives only to benefit himself confers on the world a benefit when he dies.” This is rather direct, and on the surface a bit unpleasant. But it is certainly true.

Do remember that tomorrow (Friday, April 6), we will gather at noon for Good Friday- a service of Scripture, reflection, and prayer.

The revival ended Wednesday night and it was, overall, a grand experience. If you didn’t have a chance to attend, or worse, were simply uninterested, you missed an authentic blessing. Our thanks to our Evangelist, Randy Roper for sermons that were meaningful and insightful; to Lois Layne for the selection of worshipful music which raised our eyes to heaven and our hearts to God; to our special singers; and to all who attended.
